We are looking into the feasibility of building a wind farm in an area adjacent to the M62, between Knottingley and Eggborough.

22/01/2008 - Communications Working Group Established

We are pleased to announce the formation of a working group to ensure that all members of the community are kept informed as this project develops.  The group is made up of a representative from each of the seven Parish Councils closest to the site.  To find out who your Parish representative is contact us.

16/11/2007 - Your Energy Hosts a Wind Farm Visit

We had an excellent turnout for our organised visits to Burton Wold Wind Farm in Northamptonshire.   

We understand that every individual needs to assess and evaluate all factors before making up their own mind regarding wind farms. Issues such as visual impact and noise can only be properly understood by visiting an operating wind farm, and we encourage you to join us on the next organised trip.

01/09/2007 - Scoping Request Report Submitted

We have now provided Selby and Wakefield Councils with a report which will help set the scope for the environmental impact assessment studies required at the site.
